Malware Analysis

The importance of Malware Analysis becomes evident after a specific security incident, because it can provide answers to questions like:

• How did the malware become infiltrated?
• Which malicious functionality does the malware offer?
• How can the malware be removed?
• What solutions can protect me or my customers against malware attacks?
  
  In contrast to Forensic Analysis the focus is on one piece of malicious software, ie. the malware itself, instead of the whole operating system.
  
  The judical usability is not priority here.
